We verify it by hand
A real person checks every application. Two working days, and we email you either way — with a reason if the answer is not yet.

Questions we are actually asked
Who qualifies for a trade account?
Practising architects, interior designers, contractors, hospitality buyers and retailers. We look for evidence that the practice is real and trading — a website we can look at, a registration number we can check, or documentation you send us.
How long does approval take?
Two working days. Every application is reviewed by a person rather than a rule, because the point of the check is to confirm a practice exists.
What discount do trade accounts receive?
It is set per account, based on practice type and project volume, and is shown on your account once you are approved. Larger and repeat specifications attract better terms.
Can I put my own branding on what I send clients?
Verified architect and designer accounts can co-brand exported storyboards and schedules, so your practice name appears alongside ours on the document you present.
What happens if my application is rejected?
You are told why, and your application reopens so you can correct it and resubmit. Most refusals are simply that we could not verify the practice from what was supplied.
Do I need a GST number to apply?
No. A website or a registration number is enough to start. A tax identifier helps us verify faster but is not required.
