Mineral surface fired at 1,200°C — non-porous, UV-stable, heat-proof to 300°C.
Sintered stone is natural mineral powder compacted under 400 bar of pressure and fired at 1,200°C, which fuses it into a single non-porous slab. There is no resin in it, which is why it does not yellow in sunlight the way engineered quartz does, and no porosity, which is why a glass of red wine left overnight leaves nothing behind. You can put a hot pan straight on it.

Care
Soap and water is sufficient for anything. Non-porous surfaces do not need sealing, ever.
Common questions
Can you leave a sintered stone table outside all year?
Yes. Sintered stone is frost-proof, UV-stable and non-porous, so it is unaffected by rain, sun or temperature cycling. The only outdoor consideration is the frame beneath it, not the top.
